Pinterest - LIGHT & DARK THEME
This project is used by more than 40,000 people in total. It's a web extension available on Chrome and Mozilla that simply provides around ten different colour themes to customise Pinterest, themes that the website doesn't offer by default.
It's not the most complicated project I've worked on, but I'm particularly proud of it, not for its technical complexity but for the service it provides to so many people.
All the code is available on GitHub.
Trivia Géo !
This is a project that gave me the chance to experiment with XHR requests and Socket.io. This site lets you create games for multiple players to play a geography-based trivia quiz, focusing specifically on countries.
Initially, I just wanted to create a quiz on country flags, but I expanded it to include several categories (currency, capital, etc.) and added various modes and difficulty levels.
I recommend you give it a try by clicking here!
(use your browser's built-in translator as the site is in French)
Wolvesville account manager
Wolvesville is a strategy game that can be played via the web version. I've spent a lot of time on it and ended up with lots of different accounts for various purposes.
So I spent some time looking into the game's numerous XHR and Socket.IO requests.
Using this knowledge, and given my need to switch accounts frequently, I created this project, Wolvesville Account Manager, a simple extension available on Chrome and Mozilla that lets you manage accounts and log in quickly to different ones.
It's a simple extension, but one that showcases my ability to adapt to an environment I didn't create in order to improve its functionality.
Wanicæ
As a language enthusiast, I sometimes spend my free time creating a « conlang », a constructed language, for various reasons, but mainly because I enjoy it.
I've created a website where I can display the grammar and host my dictionary of words. This dictionary is accessible via queries and a PostgreSQL database.
This project demonstrates my experience with databases, particularly SQL.
You can access it via this site, but I won't grant access to the query used to manage the dictionary, as it is password-protected.
World Scope
World Scope is definitely the project I'm most excited about at the moment.
I've only just started it, but it's something I'm really excited about.
It will be a community website aimed at gathering statistics and facts on a global and national scale for each country, as well as on companies and key players from all walks of life, in order to better understand how the world we live in is evolving and to easily find out about the shortcomings of a person, a company or a country.
It will be a way to stay informed in a less anxiety-inducing way, whereas traditional media only cover alarming events, giving the impression of constant bad news and a perpetual decline in the world.
Accessible via this site but far from being fully functional.
